RES Kindergarten Team News: "Harold and the Purple Crayon" Companion Workshop

About Us

Ms. Agner, Mrs. Gilbar, and Mrs. Mumford teach the three kindergarten classes at Richmond Elementary School. They have 15 - 19 students per class. Social skills are an important component of the kindergarten curriculum. In kindergarten time is spent building a classroom community where everyone is valued and respected. Students learn the rules and routines that help them work and play together successfully. During Language Arts time students develop skills and strategies for reading and writing. At Richmond Elementary school we use the Investigations math program. Kindergarten students have many opportunities to learn through hands-on activities.
